The interview was conducted by DomSpain with Víctor García-Chacón and Joan Velasco who both graduated in history and now are the founders of Ans Educació. The goal of Ans Educació is to spread history and cultural heritage in the street through routes and guided tours in the area of the Camp de Tarragona.
In the interview they explain how the idea of the business emerged and how it was put into practice when they organized the first route about witch-hunting in Reus. Additionally, they reval how they make their tours accessible by adapting the routes to the needs of the audience and contacting specialists thanks to which people with visual or hearing impairments could also enjoy the experience. Therefore, they never say no to an activity – they look for alternatives if, for instance, a specific location is not accessible for people in wheelchairs.
They also share what they learnt during the coronavirus pandemic and how the pandemic influenced their digital strategy and the creation of the image of the company on the visual level.
